1962 steering wheel vibration

I have a vibration in the steering I have tried everything new tires ball joints, etc. I am now lost. Any ideas?

The title is the most important part of your post. Good titles get more responses. "1962 Thunderbird" could mean anything. Also, since we are an all Thunderbird site, you can omit your make/model from the subject that I just updated.

How about a little more info...
Does this happen at a particular speed? How about when turning?
Is it related to vehicle speed or engine speed? How long has this been going on? How long have you had the car?
 
What about drive shaft and/or u-joints?
 
Hve you looked at the wheel bearings ?
Also a top shelf wheel balance at a shop with a Hunter "RoadForce" machine
is a good idea.
