Your title "1962. My original Autolite 4100 carb is leaking. Any suggestions on rebuild or replace ? This is a driver" has been revised.

Your title should be a SHORT SUMMARY of what your post is about, not longer than your actual post.

It is probably leaking by the accelerator pump or the power valve.
Rebuild the Autolite 4100 - it is one of the simplest carbs ever made.
Since the fuel bowl is part of the one-piece body, it doesn't leak like a Holley side-bowl carb.
A Holley 4010 (a 4100 clone) reissued by Summit, is another option.
Either style requires rerouting the fuel line.

Those old Autolite 4100 carbs are good carbs. Have it rebuilt including shaft bushings if needed. Easy to maintain and rebuild. The modern replacement carbs can be questionable.
