Greetings ! It has been a while since I have posted anything about my 61 Bird, but I need a little help and thought I might draw on your knowledge. I am replacing the convertible top 50-amp breaker but I can't find it. The replacement part looks like this picture but I don't see anything like it under the hood. See the photo of and around the starter solenoid where the breaker is supposed to be located...Does anyone know what I am not seeing here? Thanks!!

I don’t believe that’s the right breaker. The breaker is attached to one leg of starter solenoid and a piece of 8 gauge wire runs to center relay on firewall

in my wire diagram for my 59 it shows the circut breaker on the passanger side of the fire wall and also there is reference to a 30amp breaker on the cowl duct. Power is from the starter relay as referenced above. from the breaker it feeds the top control switch in the trunk so you can trace that back to the breaker . good luck hope this helps

On the 1963 it is inside the right front fender across from the battery and behind the windshield washer motor. It is the same shape as the one in the picture.

Thank you Cam, would you have a photo where this is. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks Cam, not seeing there either. The wild goose chase continues...
