I just rebuilt my car using a NAPA kit. There is a gap of.032 between the accelerator pump piston and the throttle linkage. I get a bit of hesitation between fuel delivery and throttle opening causing a lag in acceleration sometimes causing stalling, especially in reverse. My '61 Ford Thunderbird shop manual does not give a spec for this gap. Is there a standard gap measurement?
