My grandfather owned a ford dealership from the early 60’s to the late 1980’s and when he passed we found tons of memorabilia. He also owned several other businesses and when I was kid I would play in these 60’s themed thunderbird chairs at one of his other offices and always loved them. One is a recliner and one an office type chair After he passed I inherited both of them. They are in fairly decent condition but do need a little work. Was hoping this group could help me find out some info or maybe a place to start on what exactly they are and what the value maybe of them. Thanks in advance.

Folks, when you post to our forum, or any forum, you will get more responses if you properly title your posts. 9/10 people are "looking for help". So "1960’s looking for some help" doesn't really help people know what your post is about.

Title updated.

With that said, looks like a 1964-1965 inspired chair. My guess, could have been made by a local furniture maker, reupholstering company etc. Could have taken the seats from a car, and used the materials on a chair.

Value is what, if anything, someone is willing to pay for them.

Any one else?
