1959 coupe, tail light wiring completely wrong-help

Bernie H. May 6, 2023, Outer taillights wired for tail/brake/turn sig. but no backup. Inner lights wired for backup only and nothing else. Is this correct?.

Sounds correct to me, the inner lights are just backup lights surrounded by a reflector. This is of course if my memory is still working...

All 4 lights are wired for tail/stop, the outers only have the back-up, per the shop manual
