1957 turbine wheel cover original or reproduction?

I have 1957 turbine wheel covers that I would like to sell. Before I sell them I would like to verify if they are original or reproduction. They were on a family members car and I was told they were original, but I was wondering if there is a way to verify that. I would feel more comfortable selling them as original if there was a way for me to prove it.
