I am helping out a friend with this car. It was originally leaking badly from the steering valve. I replaced the valve with a new unit from Lares but then the wheels oscillated badly, turning left, even after many bleeds. I then replaced the steering valve with another new unit. The wheel still shakes only on left turns, not nearly as much as before, but not on full lock. I have bled the system many times and driven it around the car park, but the problem persists. I really would appreciate some advice or help on this as I am out of ideas and knowledge.
Thank you.

Was the cylinder rebuilt? Does the pitman arm ballstud move freely in both directions? Are the hoses from the valve to the cylinder in good condition? Basically the system is self bleeding.I always had the front end off the ground when running and cycling the system.I rebuilt quite a few of these over the years, but did have2-3 that required the cylinder to be rebuilt. I sent mine to Rode's Restoration in Galion,Oh. # 419-468-5182 He cut's the cylinder apart rebuilds it welds it back together.
