I recently had my steering box rebuilt. Now it leaks around the horn wire at outlet. Last thing I want to do is remove the box again. Any suggestions

I thought the piece with the hole for the wire was a solid piece of metal (shaft). It has the splines on one end and the big "gear" is on the other end inside the box. If it's like I think it is, the grease can't get to the hole inside of it to leak out. I wonder if there is some grease/oil in it from the rebuilding process and it will stop "leaking" after a few more days/weeks.

It is atube that press fits with a large plate at one end and goes through the box and into the steering shaft. Oil/grease can get in if the tube is damaged or done the open end in shaft. There is a seal for that. I am hoping someone knows of a fix othet than removing the gear box. Not an easy job on these birds. I've done it twice.
