I keep the car on a battery tender when garaged. I have a battery disconnect on the negative terminal. I was wondering if it is better to keep the circuit fully engaged, or open up the negative terminal disconnect, while on the tender? Or actually does it not make any difference since the only electrical thing running I would assume is the clock? The longest the car usually sits between being driven is about 1 to 2 weeks with some occasional periods of 3 to 4 weeks. The Las Vegas area does take a lot out of a battery when it warms up. Just trying to maximize the battery longevity. Thanks in advance.

It does not matter especially in the Vegas weather, I always keep mine plugged in. Living in the midwest the weather changes day by day....

It really does not matter, I keep my bikes plugged in all the time.

Me too. My battery is pushing close to six years and it‘s still ticking. That charger is one of the best investments I‘ve made for my Bird.
