Has anyone here replaced a door side hinge nut plate? This is the triangular backing plate that is located inside the door. The door hinge attaches to the door using three bolts that go through the hinge then the door skin and then thread into this triangular nut plate,

You can reach the location of the nut plate by sticking your hand through a stamped opening in the inside door skin, but it feels like the nut plate is slid into a metal holder of some sort. I have not actually tried loosening the door-side hinge bolts yet to try and extract it.

Has anyone done this before?

Thanks
