Anyone have a person that rebuilds/restores Y Block distributors. I have heard of a person named Lou Sumas (maybe Massachusetts) - any contact info?

Thanks

Check your local parts store for a machine shop. Distributors are not hard to rebuild. Napa may even still list them in their catalogs.

I used to own an auto parts store and there were many companies that used to rebuild distributors. Since they are no longer used on new cars, the number of rebuilders had drastically reduced. Most rebuilders would also offer a rebuild and return of your distributor. I am sure that there are companies that do this. Check with Napa or even OReileys to see if they can do that for you.

Dan the Mustang Barn did my 57 E dist. Rebuilt, curved and works great.
