New to the forum - I've inherited the family's 1957 T-bird. Was my grandfather's since 1958, then my dad's, now mine.
I'm working with a local shop to restore to a nice "driver condition" - thank goodness no body, structural work needed and engine/tranny good.
Interior is another story...broken down foam/sagging dash, seats need to be redone with new padding......
Sounds like the best bet is to do the whole thing over with vinyl (red) as a matched color set and try to get it all from either Larry's or Concours.....
Any advice - ? rough cost for materials (anyone done this recently?). How about fasteners, other pieces that I should not forget?
Thanks - Wes J.
