1957 I would like to install power door locks on my Thunderbird. Has anyone done this and where do I start with information and what product to purchase?

I didn't do it to my thunderbird but I did do it to my 69 Firebird. There are universal aftermarket kits and I would think adding them to the tbird should be possible. You are essentially hooking the new actuator rod to the rod that now gets pulled up and down when you lock and unlock the door. That hard part is getting up into that area so you can hook the new rod to the side of the old rod.
