I just bought a restored 1956 T Bird! I had to drive it home partially during night and noticed the bulb behind the speedometer shoots a direct beam into my face rather than illuminating the entire meter so I could not gauge the speed. I also cannot find any images of this vehicle being driven as night so I can’t tell if the speedometer was never intended to be as easy to read as I expected. Is there perhaps a misaligned instrument lens or a misplaced bulb hood?
