1956 power steering fluid (Type F) - winter hibernation resulted in very low power steering reservoir. anyone with positive results using anti-leak chemicals
I think that is just a stopgap. Better to have the ram rebuilt as that is where the leaks usually occur. Not a big job. I did that to mine a couple of years ago and solved the problem.

When you post to the forums, please choose a brief subject that summarizes your post which is about a power steering leak. "1956 Power Steering Fluid" could mean anything.

The power steering cylinder is easy to remove and rebuild. I purchased the rebuild kit from CASCO.

Since you will have the cylinder off be sure to replace the power steering cylinder bushings too.
