Goodmorning from Norway. I have just finished renovating the dashboard on my 1956 Tbird. Almost finished with the job and I am about to put all the bulb sockets where they belong. However there is some doubt about the correct location of the different kinds of sockets. Some are obvious, some are a mystery. I have checked with all available sorces as youtube and ChatGPT, but I have got no sensible answers. The bulb sockets I would like advice on is the long type with blue color coding on the wire. Hope some of you can give me the clue

Attached is an article from the January/February 1996 issue of the Earlybird magazine, along with the instrument panel wiring and bulb locations.

hope this helps.

Can you clarify where the long bulb sockets go? Suspect that they go into clock and tachometer. Would like to know before I again tries the aerobatic manuver with my long body(6.2), my head and one arm below the dasboard and my feet up on the back of the car😂

I updated your title "1956 Tbird, where to put the different bulb sockets on the instrument panel"

Note: Since we are exclusive to Ford Thunderbirds, you can omit the make/model of your car from future posts.
