Hi Guys , new member from Perth Australia to the forum , i am rebuilding from scratch a bare 1956 t bird Hardtop , i have purchased new stainless moldings for it , but m trying to work out how the bottom rear molding which is 1/2" wide meets up to the bent corner molding which is 3/8" wide , the rear strip has a flat section which is wider than the bent strip , do you grind down the flat section to slide inside the bend section , as you can see in pic , would anyone have a close up pic of this area to show , thanks In advance Phil

Welcome Phil! Nice project. hopefully someone can share a close-up, but I believe the wider flat section is meant to tuck into the corner piece rather than be ground down.
