1956 color of cork on air filter base

Mine is painted Argent Silver, This could be in conjunction to the "Chrome Dress up Kit Package "that blends with the valve covers, the Oil filler cap, and the silver oil dipstick handle.View attachment 26628

I agree that the ones that had the dressup kit were painted argent.

You might not like taking things apart, but when was the last time the filter was replaced in your power steering reservoir?

Never in the 45+ years I've had it But everything seems to work well. Just new fluid when I had the ram rebuilt and new hoses.
