The '55 I recently bought has 6 year old wide whitewalls that have yellowed. I have read someplace else about a great product that would make these white again. Of course I failed to bookmark that site. Does anyone have a recommendation?

To those using Brillo pads or similar.... My whitewalls are a smooth, tight surface, not rough. I have stayed away from using anything on them other than paper towels or microfiber type towels to avoid messing us that smooth surface. Doesn't the Brillo pad rough up the surface and make it even easier for dirt to get stuck to it?

I have tried several of the above, including SOS pads, Wesley's, etc.

My best luck recently has been using Mr. Clean Magic Eraser pads.

Magic Eraser pads are easy to use and not nearly as abrasive as some of the kitchen pot scrubbing pads that are often used.

I have repro tires made by Diamondback Classics, and they recommend spraying on Simple Green, let it set briefly (scrub with a sponge, if you wish), and wash it off. My whitewalls look as good as when they were new,

I've found that Jay Leno's Heavy Duty Rubber Cleaner works the best after trying lots of other cleaners.
