Hello, going to try to replace my soft top on my 1955 Thunderbird, ordered complete top kit, it came with (2) what they call window straps, 3/4 inch wide by 20 inches long, my car did not come with these window straps, if it did, they are long gone, does anyone know where these top window straps go and how they are used ?
Thanks Larry

Those straps were there when the car was new and they should have snaps on them. They are used to roll the plastic window down and secure it so you can drive around with the real window down.
