1955 Thunderbird Wheel balancing for wheels with 2 peace hubcaps

Looking for advice one wheel balancing of wheels with the 2 peace wire wheel hub caps. do I need to remove the spring hold downs to get the wheels balance and if so how do you put them back on in a balance manor? The tires are the polyester white walls. they look great but a little squirrely at times. thanks

thanks, I was wondering if they would fly off when spin balancing. that could hurt. some times it takes a pretty small weight to change the balance. thanks again
