1955 Positive Battery Cable color - 12v.

I'm replacing the positive battery cable on a '55 T-bird that's been converted to 12v. Current cable is RED, is this the correct color, as I can only find black replacements for p/n 14300. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, I'll replace with the black cable as the clamp is broken on current red cable.
 
The red cable is probably a 12 volt cable. 6 volt cables are black.
 
Go to your local parts store and ask for a heavy duty positive cable in whatever length you need. It will be red and have the proper size terminal.
Don't worry about concours judging, it's already been converted to 12 volt.
