1955 Plug inside Dipstick tube

Without going into detail as to why, I need to use the dip stick hole that is by the starter. It sort of looks like it has a plug down inside, (like a soft plug).
Has anyone had to deal with the hole. Ford casted it into the block. Do I drill it out or does it just push out?
