I'm looking for someone who can recondition the hard top on my 1955 Thunderbird. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Amos Minter shop is one with long history of restoring early Tbirds to championship levels. They are located near Dallas, TX.

Wraps typically last three to five years. Paint it raven black with three nice coats of clear wet sand and polish out very nicely and easily done. Make sure you put in new rear window gasket. Installing the headliner is a piece of cake it just takes time and it is easily worked out. I did use the vinyl tack strips and they work much better than the paper ones. If you're not into painting any body shop can perform that job very easily and it's not that expensive.

I did the wrap but in hindsight, I wish I had sanded the top. It does show minor imperfections but it still looks great as I wanted a triple black T-bird. Total cost for wrap was $400 all in.
