March 5, 1955 was the day. Who knows what the history from that day to this day is but I am glad she made it to me to celebrate this milestone. I am so lucky to have this beautiful piece of great American art to keep alive for future generations. I just wonder how many of her siblings from that first year are still around. I hope to look and run as good as she does when I hit 70!
