1955 Clearance in rear wheel houses & inside front wheel wells

Will 8" rims with a 3.75 back space fit in thunderbird the rear wheel houses? I would mount tires within the 9inch footprint of the rim.

Will 5.5 inch rims with a 3.5 backspace fit in front?
