carb

Greetings All, I am going to replace my Autolite 4100 1.12 Carburetor and would like everyone's input on which Carb should I get to replace the old one. I have seen some for sale for about $500.00, that is why I asking for some idea's. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know of a direct fit catalytic converter replacement that is California CARB compliant? Looks like there are a lot of 48 state compliant ones, but I can only find universal CARB compliant ones that require cutting into the pipe. Any help would be appreciated.
