This is the 2nd 1955 Tbird I have owned. The first one was in 1991, yellow, and when I sold a year later it I instantly regretted doing so. I found this one this summer in New Hampshire, and I am very proud and happy to get my yellow 1955 'Bird back! This one has a rebuilt engine, but a 6 volt system that I am going to convert to 12 volts (so I can put in a replica stereo system that looks old but has bluetooth functionality). I taught auto shop (and wood shop) early in my career, so I am pretty comfortable with a wrench. I enjoy being creative and productive.
