This 1955 Thunderbird has a 292 V-8 engine, power seat, power windows, power steering, power brakes and Fordomatic transmission. It was a California "Black Plate" car.

I love your car. Mine also is a California black plate car. It’s been in storage for over forty years. It was originally Thunderbird blue like yours but my Uncle had it painted yellow.
Someday I hope to drive it

When I purchased the T-Bird I found a video of the off frame restoration & 2 old titles. 1 title was issued on 10/18/2005, that owner only drove the car a few times & stored it in a climate control warehouse for 8 years. The California title was issued on 12/13/2001 & that owner bought the car in Northern California from an owner of a body shop & it was indeed a body off restoration. After he bought the car it sat in his garage for many years, because he owned about 20 collector cars.
