Tires for a 1991 tbird sport

Hi, I have a 1991 T Bird Sport that I would like to fined white letter tires for. When I go and try to purchase they say the size for my car is 215 70 15. but when I look in the door it says I can go to 215 65 15. This is the tire that came with the car. Any ideas? What tires will fit this car other than what is stated in the door?

Hi, you can use both sizes ,the different is the heigth,
70 or 65 in this case will say, par exemple 70% of the width , the different of these two is just 10mm

You have the same setup as the Supercoupe tires for the SC are 225/60/16 if it is a true Sport those are the correct tire size for those cars FYI If you change tire sizes you will throw off the the speedo as well as the computer and ABS parameters

I have 245/60/15 all the way around.rides like it's on rails.
