Thermostat location on 1966 Tbird 390 V8

I don't have a manual for my car yet. I cannot find the T-stat housing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thermostat is under Surge Tank Tube

If you look at where the surge tank mounts to the front of the intake manifold, the thermostat is under the mounting flange.
