Hey everyone. I've got a strange problem that I've been racking my brain over, and I'm stumped. I have a 91 Thunderbird SC 4 spd automatic with a 3.8L V6. Car is in great shape and runs very smoothly, but I get a spike in the RPM at around 1500 RPM. It does this in all gears, including neutral and park, so I don't think it's a tranny issue. Burped the coolant thinking it might be getting some funny readings when an air bubble passed over a sensor, but it's still doing it. Any suggestions?
