Repair or remove aftermarket alarm system?

I have a 1992 Thunderbird Sport. It has a Viper alarm system installed. My problem is the valet switch does not shut the system off, and I only have one working key-fob to use when I use the car. If that one key-fob fails, I won't be able to use the car at all. I'm wondering if I should go have a new alarm system installed, or could I return the car to stock? It came from the factory with the power lock group option, I would be happy with the factory system, but I don't have the original remotes. I have no wiring diagram for the Viper system, but I do have the factory dealership service manual. Any thoughts on how to approach this?
Thanks.
