All,
I live in VA. Just purchased a 57 TBird from California. I invite you to follow along as I restore this bird from top to bottom front to back. I am not a professional mechanic, so I welcome constructive feedback along the way.

Thanks
John

Coincedentially my 55 came from VA. Im in SC and like, you not a pro.
Im in my 5th year of my restoration or maybe resto-modding is a more correct term.
I suggest you aquire or build a rotisserie if you dont already have as it will prove invaluable!

This weekend I dropped the differential and the drive shaft. Remember to put a transmission plug in to prevent leak . Got mine from Summit. Rear end was filthy. Cleaned it up and dropped it at Driveline Specialists in Lorton to get cleaned out and bearings checked. Also took driveshaft to get new u-joint and balancing20191026_163858.jpg
