Hello everyone,
We have a newly purchased 97 Thunderbird. Bear with me here as I am not familiar with these. It has started intermittently the last couple of days. He has a key with a battery in it and says that the car has to be unlocked to start. We bought a new battery but the problem still exists. ( starts sometimes ) Is this an aftermarket key ? Or factory ? Can we simply disconnect this and just use the key alone ? Any help would be greatly appreciated
