I am seeking information on rebuilding the Aluminium 8.8 diff carrier, mainly if the clearances and torque settings are different from the cast iron diff head!

My carrier is an alloy open differential which I am fitting an eaton posi unit, the LSD part is no problem, mainly backlash and other settings, as the alloy head may grow with heat more than a cast iron unit, but I am finding it difficult to obtain information!
