My hot water valve is leaking where it screws into the manifold.

I've tightened it as far as I can. Any suggestions?

If it's like the ones I've replaced, the leak is actually coming from inside the valve, I have had to change these valves every year, they just don't seem to last for me.

I have Never heard of a hot water valve on a thinderbird. Explain what you mean please and where on the manifold this is. Thanks.

Well that might be the difference. I have a 59 with a 430 motor, a 63 with a 390, a 65 with a 390, a 66 with a 390 and a 57 Fairlane 500 with a 292. Yours being a 57 Tbird I asune It is a 312 motor similar to my 57, 292 motor. Can you describe where the hot water valve is located on the intake manifold or is it in the heater box assembly? Thanks
