Hello fellow enthusiasts, My '94 SC has 90k miles and I am restoring the car and rebuilding the engine. The supercharger appears to be okay, however I haven't dis-assembled to look at the inside. The aluminum intercooler and the to/from conduits were coated with engine oil on the inside when dis-assembled. Does this indicated an issue with the supercharger and should the supercharger be rebuilt, or will it be okay for normal driving? Rock Auto charges about $650 plus shipping to send the SC for rebuilding. I see rebuild kits on eBay for about $170. Is it an easy rebuild and does it require special tools? I've contacted four SC rebuilding companies and none of them can rebuild mine. Thank-you for any help you can give me.
