1992 T-bird engine temp a bit high

Hello all and greets from Finland.

I just bought a 1992 V6 T-bird.

It is in driving order and is MOTd and taxed here in Finland atm.

There are few things that need sorting.

First is the engine temperature.

While driving, engine temp gauge goes over the middle level. Should not happen during this time of the year here in Finnish climate. About 2 Celsius centigrade temps.

I checked the coolant and a quick see through of the rad. No evident leaks visible.

Tried to find search button from this forum. No luck yet.

Cheap and easy remedy would be to replace thermostat. That should be a starting point for you.

Agree with t-stat also try a good flush if you have any further problems contact me I built a few of these and own 5 t-bird SC's so don't hesitate good luck
