Hi, well i want to buy a 1992 T-Bird v6 3.8, it has 96,000km (About 56,000 miles), they are selling it to me in aroud 42,000 mexican pesos (2000 dollars).
I am only 17 and it would be my very first car, should i go for it? i looks really good but every person i talk about it tells me that i should go for a smaller car because a v6 consumes a lot of fuel.
i really like it but i have some concerns, what do you think?242598440_4440337552711699_8365065635964596441_n.jpg

From what I can see, it is not in that bad of condition considering its age. Very low miles for a '92. The rims do not look factory and I am not sure if the racing stripes came from Ford but maybe its something they did for that market. The interior looks pretty good also. $2k is average price for this model.
Gas mileage should be 21mpg on hwy an 15 in city for a combined of 17mpg.
I might be biased but I think it would be an excellent 1st car for a young man and his one looks mean.
Go for it!

If this is your first car you should worry more about how it starts, accelerates, handles, stops, turns, and cruises than minor aesthetics. Is there any smoke on start up or running ? Any strange sounds, ? Leaks ? Is the oil clear, not milky or real gritty ? any rust ?
