1983 Ford Thunderbird Wheels and Tires.

Wheels and Tires from a 1983 Ford Thunderbird. Removed when relatively new and been in storage since then. Alloy wheels with Michelin TRX Tires in relatively good condition, only minor signs of dry rot with strong tread still evident except for one tire that show minor wear in inner half. Alloy wheels show virtually no signs of alloy rust.... just dirty from sitting so long. The wheels are 4-lug. Tire size and rims are odd size as Ford went with a 14 inch off size tire that year we believe, and owner replaced them with a more standard size for winter and year round driving. The tire size appears to be 220-55-R390 -- a metric size perhaps. Ford Thunderbird enthusiasts will know about this size issue and the rarity of these wheels and tires.
