I need to access the inner workings of my 1975 passenger door. Any information or tips will be greatly appreciated.

Get yourself a trim removal tool and take it very easy when you are popping out the pins and clips holding the door panel to the side of the door (you can easily rip or tear the old corkboard of the door panel) There also should be screws holding the door handle and on. Find them and remove them first. usually after you have got the door panel popped off you lift up to remove it from where it rests in the top of the door where the window weather strip is.
