1967 evaporator installation tips

I have an evaporator that needs replacing on my 67 4 door. I can't find any information on it. Before I start taking things apart, does anyone have any experience doing this that could give me some tips.

I have to replace my A/C evaporator, need some help on how to go about it.
 
You will have to remove the hood to get the black box out. It will almost rub on the firewall and the valve cover ut it will come out. Its a bear but you can do it.
