I am working on getting the roof redone on my 1966 landau hardtop and I need to remove the bottom trim on the exterior sail panels. What would be the best way to remove that trim? I've heard that I might need to take the rear seats out but I want to make sure before I dig in too deep. Any advice would be very helpful.

I need to remove this piece and the one on the other side as i'm looking to get a new vinyl top aswell as dealing with rust.

I just removed that trim on my ’65 hard top. Fortunately, I have the inside of the vehicle gutted. You have to remove three nuts from inside of the wall structure, which requires removing the inside trim. The two forward nuts are 7/16” and the rear one is 3/8”. Be prepared for some very “fiddly” fishing for the nuts, as they are inside of three holes within the sail structure. The rear on is the most challenging.
