1966 Blower Resistor Location and Access

Pretty sure my blower resistor has expired. I’m thinking it’s under dash on passenger side??? Is there easier way to access or do we have to tear apart the dash?

Mr. Biddle is correct, you need a service manual. On my 59 tbird the resistor is inside the exit duct after the blower. It is on the bottom side of the duct, the wires can be felt with your hand. Air passing over wire wound resistor cools resistor.
