I have noticed that my speedometer reads about ten miles per hour to fast.
Is there anyway to adjusted this to the correct reading. example the other day
I passed one of those speed output signs it said I was going 38 but speedometer showed 45

While there is no adjustment, you could change the speedometer drive gear. Larry's Tbird sells these, look here, https://www.larrystbird.com/product...bird-1958-1966-ford-thunderbird-transmission/ . It might take a little bit of calculating which one would be correct. Rear gear ratio, and tire size all come into play as to which one would be correct.
Hope this helps
Ed
