1964 convertible driver’s seat too far forward

The driver’s seat has always been very far forward. It’s awkward to drive even with the seat fully back. I am considering a modification to get more room.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Yes I had same issue and other tall people have same issue. I simply drilled 4 new holes in floor and moved seat back ..A better option I have seen on this forum is to have a piece of steel with holes drilled out to match original holes in floor..Mine is now a 3 seater because it is so far back but way more comfy to drive..Good luck..
