Hi, had to change my transmission and managed to find one from a 63 Galaxy. Noted the arm linkage was a slightly different angle but thought I could mod the linkages BUT... has the Thunderbird transmission got a bit of extra movement from park to allow for the swing away steering to work? The Galaxy trans when in park the arm is solid but on the Thunderbird there seems to be a little extra sprung movement. Does this make sense??
Thanks Andy
