1962 Spilling gasoline during fill-ups

With the angle of the gas tank pipe and the lactation inside the bumper, as hard as I try I cannot fill my gas tank without spilling a cup full on the ground.

Anyone have a solution for sealing the pump nozzle into the gas tank neck?
